Here is a picture of the first thing I sewed for myself, a wool skirt with pleats. Though it was indeed from a modern pattern, I thought it was a great basic black skirt, with a little bit of 1940s style. As you can see I am wearing it with a pink kitty cat blouse from Modcloth. For those of you who don't know what Modcloth is, it's a online store, which has the greatest vintage inspired decor, clothing, shoes ( love their shoes), accessories and swimsuits. They also have authentic vintage, but that normally sells out pretty quickly. I suggest you check it out, here is the link: http://www.modcloth.com/ |

Hello
This is my first blog post, so let me introduce myself! My name is Paige, and this is my first time ever creating a blog. I love vintage fashion and sewing, I am still a beginner seamstress so bear with me as I make mistakes, and learn new techniques. I also am a gluten free, dairy free baker, so I will enjoy showing you new recipes and such.
